SA:Unions target marginal SA seat
Unions are targeting the very marginal seat of South Australian MP CHLOE FOX in their
bid to force MIKE RANN's government to reverse budget cuts.
They'll rally today outside the Bright office of Ms FOX .. who has a margin of 0.4
per cent .. and SA Unions secretary JANET GILES says just 167 votes need to change at
the next state election for her to lose the seat.
Ms GILES says workers feel betrayed by the state government since the September budget
.. which revealed plans to slash more than three thousand public sector jobs .. holiday
leave loading for some employees and long service leave entitlements.
